Residency Rotation

Physician with young boy | Duke Autism

The fellowship rotation offers clinical training in evidence-based evaluation and treatment of ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. In the evaluation component of the rotation, fellows gain first-hand experiences in the diagnosis and treatment of autism and its psychiatric co-morbidities and collaboration with the clinical team. In the intervention component, fellows may be involved in the provision of individual, family, and group therapy services and medication management. Opportunities to participate in infant-toddler diagnostic evaluations are available.
