Brianne Tomaszewski, PhD, MPH
Please join us for the next presentation in our 2024-2025 Duke Center for Autism Seminar Series! Our speaker will be Brianne Tomaszewski, PhD, MPH, an applied developmental scientist specializing in research and programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities within their communities. Dr. Tomaszewski's current work focuses on school-based transition, postsecondary, and community-based adult interventions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She conducts community participatory research to identify evidence-based practices and interventions for educators, community and service providers, and families that will lead to service delivery and system changes. Her research includes stakeholder involvement, including individuals with disabilities, their caregivers, disability service providers, secondary and higher education educators, non-profit organizations, and local and state-level administrators.
